The two rotating systems indicating the chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and the chronograph hours at 6 o’clock systems also use black gold. There are “black gold” accents all over the dial of the watch including the indexes, TAG Heuer logo and the hands. The Calibre 36 RS is housed in a 43 mm in diameter case which has a black titanium carbide coating. A COSC-certified movement oscillates at an ultra high 36,000 vibrations per hour (vph), allowing the watch to measure 1/10th of a second intervals. Featuring a world’s first, the Grand Carrera Calibre 36 RS is the only automatic chronograph capable of measuring and displaying 1/10ths of a second.
